This Glycerine Refining plant has a ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐๐๐ข๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ข๐ ๐ง ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐ซ๐ฎ๐๐ ๐๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ from biodiesel, with high content of MONG, Soap and Methanol.
โก๏ธ Step 1 - Methanol Evaporation Unit, where most of methanol is removed and sent to ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ for rectification. Crude Glycerine from this unit is sent to Step 2.
โก๏ธ Step 2 - Chemical Pretreatment Unit to remove most of Soap and MONG from Crude Glycerine.
โก๏ธ Step 3 - TECHNOILOGY new design ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ which is fed with both crude methanol recovered by Methanol Evaporation Unit and Crude Glycerine coming from Chemical Pretreatment Unit.
The following streams are obtained:
- Methanol at 99.9 % from the column top.
- Concentrated Crude Glycerine from the column bottom which is sent to Step 4.
- Process Water from the middle of the column, which is recovered to the process units.
โก๏ธ Step 4 - Glycerine Distillation and Refining Unit to produce ๐๐ก๐๐ซ๐ฆ๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ ๐๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ (fulfilling the international Pharma Grade specifications) from Crude Glycerine.
