Inset Dr. A. K. M. Oli Ullah
Additional Secretary of the Internal Resources Department Dr. A, K, M Oli Ullah has been appointed as the Director General of Rural Development Academy (RDA) Bogra. A notification in this regard has been issued by the Ministry of Public Administration recently. The notification states that this order issued in the public interest will come into effect immediately.
The Rural Development Academy was established in 1974 under the First Five Year Plan of Bangladesh with an allocation of Tk 2.00 crore. Later, in 1990, the Rural Development Academy, Bogra was recognized as a national institution by Act No. 10. The main responsibilities of this academy are to provide training, and research, conduct practical research, and provide consultancy services. The academy has been successfully fulfilling the above-mentioned responsibilities since its inception. Currently, RDA is conducting its activities keeping in mind a specific vision and mission.
Dr. A, K, M Oli Ullah, a meritorious student of the 46th batch of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, has served at various levels of the government as a very talented and intelligent officer. His friends, colleagues, and well-wishers congratulated him on being appointed as the Director General of the Rural Development Academy. In his personal life, he is the father of two daughters and a son. He sought the prayers and cooperation of all concerned in his new workplace.
