ACI Motors enters the Guinness World Records by handing over 350 tractors at once

ACI Motors has entered the Guinness World Records by selling 350 Sonalika tractors in a single day. These tractors were displayed and handed over at a function organized at the Gor-e-Shahid Central Eidgah Ground in Dinajpur on Monday (October 27, 2025). Photo: Collected

Rezaul Karim (51) used to sell tea, betel nut, and betel nut in a stall next to his house in Phulbari Upazila of Dinajpur. Tractor driver Saddam Hossain used to come to his stall almost every day. Thus, Rezaul developed a friendship with Saddam, who used to cultivate farmers' land. Due to mutual financial difficulties, one day, on Saddam's advice, Rezaul closed the stall and joined the work of cultivating the land. Within a few days, he learned to drive a tractor and started driving it for rent. That was in 2010. After that, Rezaul's income started increasing. After spending, he saved a little money. With that money, Rezaul bought a tractor for himself.

This Monday (October 27, 2025) morning, Rezaul bought a 'Sonalika Tractor' for the second time from ACI Motors at the Dinajpur Gor-e-Shahid Boro Field. On this day, ACI Motors took the initiative to enter the Guinness World Records by selling 350 tractors at once under the title 'Sonalika Bishwajay'. Accordingly, the handover of 350 tractors at once was recognized as a Guinness World Record last night.

Like Rezaul, 350 farmers and entrepreneurs from different districts and upazilas of the country came to buy tractors and became a part of that history. Rezaul Karim said at the event, "I bought a tractor about three years ago with my own income. It is being driven by my elder son. Now I have bought another tractor for my younger son. It feels great to have such a big event. The company has given so many people the opportunity to buy tractors at once."

A huge crowd of people had gathered at Dinajpur Gor-e-Shahid ground since this morning (October 27, 2025) to register their names in the Guinness World Records. Along with the representatives of the organizers and the buyers of the tractors, there were more than a thousand eager people. Three hundred and fifty blue tractors were arranged in the field. At 12:30 pm, ACI Motors Deputy Managing Director Subrata Ranjan Das and International Tractors Director and CEO Gaurav Saxena arrived at the venue with a huge convoy of over a hundred motorcycles. After that, the buyers sat in the driver's seat of the tractors holding the ACI Motors flag. Immediately after that, 'Shabash Bangladesh' was chanted with joy and happiness. Colorful paper was flown to create a festive atmosphere.

Dinajpur Deputy Commissioner Rafiqul Islam, ACI Motors Chief Business Officer Asif Uddin, Senior General Manager Shamim Hossain, along with senior ACI officials, invited guests, and musicians were present at the event. At 1:30 pm, there was a discussion meeting in the second phase on the stage of the event.

The organizers said that the event was organized to enter the Guinness World Records. In a video message at the event, Guinness World Records Limited judge Carl Saville said, "A record has been set by supplying the largest number of tractors in the world."

In his closing remarks, ACI Motors' Subrata Ranjan Das said, "We wanted to create a positive branding of Bangladesh in the world through the mechanization of agriculture. Those who bought tractors from this event have become part of a big event in the world."
