Silos Spain continues to strengthen its presence in Latin America with the expansion of a new plant in Costa Rica, dedicated to soybean storage. This project enhances the client’s storage capacity and supports the growth of the region’s agroindustrial sector.
The expansion includes the installation of a 05.35/09 model silo, specially designed with seismic reinforcement to ensure maximum stability and safety in areas with high seismic activity.
The silo is built from steel coated with ProMag, an advanced alloy that offers up to ten times greater corrosion resistance than conventional galvanized steel. This provides exceptional durability and reliable long-term performance, even in demanding environmental conditions.
It is equipped with maximum and minimum level detectors for accurate content monitoring, external and internal ladders for safe access, and a discharge system featuring motorized and manual slide gates designed to optimize grain flow.
This new expansion in Costa Rica represents another step forward in Silos Spain’s international growth strategy, reinforcing its presence in Central America with solutions focused on efficiency, durability, and structural safety.
